Soups and chili, music and games.

A “Pounding” is a wonderful community tradition where people bring a pound of goods – like flour, sugar, gift cards or canned items to help stock the pantry of a new pastor and his bride, Kristen. It is a warm way to welcome them and invite the community to come meet them. There will be a men’s chili cook-off, and we attendees get to vote on the “spiciest” the “most unique” and the “best” chili.
